I've started making music in early 2010s. For a very long time it wasn't a "serious" hobby. I worked on music for 10+ years on and off, started with an acoustic guitar, kept quitting and coming back, and in 2020-2021 I've decided to actually learn FL Studio and in 2022 I decided to release my debut album "Experience". Late 2023 I've decided to move to Ableton.
As of writing this page, I am currently working on my next project along with this website. Partially this site will be the part of the project I've yet to reveal - that's probably one of a few reasons I decided to make myself a place on the internet outside the world of streaming services and social media titans.
Current gear
Small list of my current gear I use (almost) daily.
Schecter C1 Standart
A really good quality for its price. I know Schecter makes really good quality guitars but I didn't know it transfers to budget guitars too. Been happy since I bought it in december of 2025. Slowly integrating guitar into my music :)
Was looking for a specific finish because I really love wood "colours". My very first electric guitar was a used Ibanez RGA 32 with a mahogany finish. It also had EMGs' and I didn't really understood the power of active pickups back then. I miss it a little, had to sale it at some point.
I would change the pickups on this one though. For metal stuff they are fine enough but for cleans they are a bit too plain. I would swap those fot active EMGs' but I am really afraid to mod guitar myself. Rest of guitar is surprisingly good and if you are looking for a great budget guitar you might wanna take a look for this model (although there is not very rich choice of finishes for this specific model).
Akai MPK mini IV
I was really wondering if this is worth of a choice since my MPK Mini III keys broke after a year of mostly careful usage. The rest of the midi is ok. Probably it was just an unlucky buy.
The choice was between this and Arturia MiniLab 3 and got a little bit disappointed because I couldn't program it with my PC like Mini III or MiniLab Mk2 which I also had. Turns out I don't really need that - two default presets it has is more than enough for anything.
Leaned towards buying this model instead of MiniLab 3 was because of the absence of sensor bs which for some reason Arturia really loves to use for pitch and mod sliders. Hated it on Mk 2. It's physical on Mini IV. It's also smaller than Arturia, by a lot. And also has a small 5 button raw under knobs with stop/play and record buttons, very-very handy. Works flawlessly with Ableton!
Arturia Minifuse 2
Definitely a great sound card for it's price aswell. Took some time to get used to it's setup, or rather setting up my system with it's Asio. The latency levels are very good, headphones output is great, yet to try microphone some day with it.
Want to change it to something more serious at some point and pair it with good speakers. It helped my old Microlab 4 speakers to sound better. It still kinda struggles to work without huge latency when the projects are getting too big, I am not a fan of rendering stuff to compliment my CPU load and/or to reduce latency (especially guitar tracks) because sometimes only couple of plugins can cause massive latency like 22-40ms. If I suddenly need to record another guitar track on an already heavy enough project I have to go through all my project tracks one by one to find an exact VST plugin that causes all the latency. But maybe it's just my 5600X which I need to upgrade already, not sure.
Beyerdynamics DT 770 Pro 250 Ohm
Very happy with these bad boys... I mean, pair of headphones. Although I really had to adapt to them. It's pretty cheap and common pair of great quality headphones but it's not the most neutral sound in them. They are very good for a home studio and with the Beyerdynamics "Headphone Lab" the sound gets a lot more "plateau" and neutral in DAWs'. Of course it affects the whole DAW output and sound on speakers differs because of it so this tool is strictly for it's headphones. Still, very handy. Can't go wrong with a pair of these.
Had the 80ohm version of those headphones years ago. I would say that without good soundcard it was practically useless and at the time I was writing on a potato that didn't had any DAC or was really terrible to push a pair of 80ohms. With Minifuse 2 it does it's job perfectly. At least for a person who rarely use them aince I mostly write and mix on speakers. Final touches now always go through 770s'.
Sennheiser Momentum TWS 4
Wonder why these are here? Basically it's my test device - a pair of great neutral-ish sounding True Wireless Stereo in-ears'. Great for daily usage aswell. Majority of people use TWS in-ears nowadays so it's mantadory for me to check if my songs sounds good enough in these. Of course it's not like a gold standart sound or anything but they are more than enough for my needs.
